Ferrybank put in a great effort on wednesday night. The panel was divided into 2 ten a side teams. Ferrybank conceded some early goals to a physically much bigger & slightly older De la Salle squad. As the games wore on we settled into it and defended well. With some good hurling being played by both sides, the second half was very entertaining. Our boys illustrated the required fighting spirit and it was a great evening’s fun and excitement for all. De la Salle proved fierce opponents and credit must be paid to them for the manner in which they played the games. In the end we lost 2 games and won 2 so it was a well earned draw.
Once again thanks to all the parents and supporters. We were amazed at the volume of support which is vital. You made the kids night and they look forward to their next match.
Well done to our players and you should be proud how you represented Ferrybank.
Once again all parents, encourage your kids (from juniors infants) to join Ferrybank club, where the emphasis is placed on fun. This is a great outlet for children and provides a safe environment to learn new skills and meet new friends.
