SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP:
The draws for the 2025 JJ Kavanagh & Sons Waterford Senior Hurling Championship took place in Lawlor’s Hotel last Monday. Following proposals from different clubs for this year’s structure, it was decided that there will be two groups of six teams, with the top two teams going directly into the quarter-finals, with the other four teams in both groups entering preliminary quarter-finals.
Ferrybank's opponents in the group stage will be Passage, Mount Sion, Dungarvan, Lismore, and Fourmilewater. No confirmed date for the start of these matches has been set, but more than likely it will be the second/third week of July.
ANNUAL DOG NIGHT:
Our night at the dogs will take place on Saturday March 8th in Kilcohan Park, and is kindly sponsored by Martin Barrett Car Sales. The main gate prize on the night is a €250 travel voucher from Harvey Travel.
This popular event is the club’s main fundraiser for the coming year ahead, and we would encourage everyone to take note of this date, and keep it in the diary.
WIN A HOUSE IN WATERFORD:
Waterford GAA Supporters club is thrilled to announce the launch of the ‘Win a House in Waterford’ fundraiser. The grand prize is a stunning new home, built by Frisby Homes, located in the highly sought-after Brookfield estate in Kilbarry, Waterford. Alternatively, a €335k cash prize is also available instead, plus many more special draws, in which the next special draw will take place on February 16th, where a trip to Rome will be the top prize. The main draw is scheduled to take place on May 6th, 2025.
