JUNIOR FOOTBALL:

It’s now back to the big ball for the club for the coming weeks as the Ferrybank Junior Footballers commence their championship campaign this coming Thursday, September 5th with a 6:15pm trip away to John Mitchells GAA grounds. As usual, all support is welcome on the night.

MINOR FOOTBALL:

The combined Ferrybank / St. Saviour’s side are in Division 1 football action this Wednesday, September 4th away to Abbeyside/Ballinacourty with a 7pm throw-in. On Sunday, September 8th, the team takes on Rathgormack. Best of luck to all concerned.

UNDER 13 HURLING:

Ferrybank's U13 hurlers are in knockout action this coming Tuesday, September 3rd in Kilgobnet where they play Clashmore/Kinsalebeg in the Shield semi-final with a 6:30pm start. All support on the night is welcome.

UNDER 12 HURLING:

Our U12 hurlers travelled to De La Salle on Friday, and following a real competitive game, edged out a close fought win, with a gritty display against solid opponents. Well done to all, and keep up the good work.

TEAM: Jamie, Mikey, Darragh, Oscar, Francis, Matthew, Conor, Ben, Logan, Alex, Jackson, Sam, Daragh, Jack.

UNDER 11 FOOTBALL:

Our U11 Footballers were in blitz action last Tuesday, welcoming St. Mary's and St. Saviour’s for some good competitive action. The lads had to work hard throughout each match against steely opponents, putting in a huge effort on the night. Well done to all and thanks to the teams for coming over, and to the parents for their support.

UNDER 9 & 10 HURLING & FOOTBALL:

Both the U9 & U10 teams played in a club blitz last Saturday morning, which was enjoyed in glorious sunshine. There were plenty of thrills and spills on the pitch, with teams giving it their all on the day. A good fun morning was had by all.

CLUB FUNDRAISER:

Last Saturday morning, the Senior Hurlers had a fundraiser in the GAA grounds raising a few bob towards their training fund. It was a great success, with plenty of people turning up and supporting the cause. The players would especially like to thank all the people who donated the beautiful baked cakes and buns, and also who donated prizes to the raffle. A great morning was had by all.

WELL!KIDS:

The Well!Kids programme continues this coming Saturday morning from 10am to 11am. This is open to boys and girls aged between 4-7. It’s free to attend, where equipment can be provided if needs be. The emphasis is based on fun, and learning our game in a fun, but safe environment.
