ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes

ALL-COUNTY HURLING LEAGUE:

The opening game in this year’s All-County Hurling League was postponed last Saturday due to the adverse weather warning. Provisionally, the game has been scheduled for the weekend beginning Friday, May 3rd.

In the meantime, the team will make the trip to Lismore this coming Saturday, April 13th at 4pm for Round 2 of the league, and hopefully it will be all systems go. All support is welcome on the day.

UNDER 15 FOOTBALL:

No joy for the combined Ferrybank/Erin’s Own U15 footballers as they were narrowly defeated by Ballinacourty by a point on a scoreline of 1-09 to 3-02 last Monday night. Hopefully the team can make amends tonight (Monday, April 8th) where they play St. Patrick’s in Poleberry at 6:30pm.

UNDER 13 FOOTBALL:

Our U13 Footballers were well beaten last Wednesday against a good Gaultier side. The team gave it their all, but a stronger Gaultier side took the chances that mattered on the night. Next up for the team is a trip to St. Oliver’s this coming Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30pm.
