ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes

MINOR FOOTBALL:

The combined Ferrybank/St Saviours Minor Footballers recorded a good win over St. Mary’s last Wednesday in Kilmacthomas on a scoreline of 4-08 to 1-11. It’s now off to Rathgormack this coming Tuesday, March 26th where the lads play the homeside with a 6:15pm throw-in, and as usual, all support will be welcomed.

U10 & U11:

Our Under 10 and Under 11 teams made the trip to Kilrossanty last Sunday to take on the home team, and played both a hurling and Football match.

This was a great workout for the team, and all the players gave an excellent account of themselves. Thanks to Kilrossanty for the matches.

Training continues on Sunday morning for the team, and new members are welcome to come down and get involved from 10:30am to 12:00, where full training and equipment will be provided. Further details can be obtained if needed from Kevin 087-9018467, Andrew 087-6914369, and Ricky 087-9000149.

Also, Sinead, Lilly W, Holly, Mia, Gracie-Mai, Lilly D, Sophie, Isabelle, Emme, and Taylor were out in SETU with the U12 development squad, with Derek involved in the coaching set up.

Iona Heffernan was up in Galway with the Senior Camogie team that were narrowly defeated by a point last Saturday afternoon. Well done to all.
