ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes

BENEFIT NIGHT:

The club will hold its annual benefit night on Saturday, March 9th in Kilcohan Park. Over the last number of years, this has become the club’s biggest fundraiser. Once again, we hope everyone from the club and parish will get behind it and support this family-orientated night out.

Following a successful 2023 season for the club both on and off the field, which saw the Intermediate hurlers being crowned Waterford Premier Intermediate Hurling Champions, and a return to the Senior ranks this year, following an absence of almost 40 years, it’s a significant achievement and testament to the hard working people involved in the club, which also saw our Minors being crowned Division 2 County Champions.  In addition, the development of the clubhouse continues, which saw the recent completion of Phase 2, which is another significant milestone, and moving to Phase 3 (fit out) in 2024, indicates the club’s commitment to providing top-notch facilities for its players and members.

Tickets for the night cost €10, and will go on sale shortly, where we would encourage everyone to purchase a ticket. All tickets sold by the club will see the money being retained by the club. There will also be a number of prize draws on the night as well, where the main prize will once again be kindly sponsored by Sean Power and his team at Harvey Travel, which is a weekend away in the four-star Castlerosse Hotel, Killarney including an evening meal and breakfast. There will also be the opportunity to sponsor a dog, with the popular dog nominations also making a reappearance. So keep this date in your diary.
