GAA NOTES

UNDER 8 HURLING TOURNAMENT: Congratualtions to the Ferrybank under 8 Hurlers on a fantastic performance in Ballygunner last Saturday. The Villagers put on a great display on hurling in all of their 3 matches. Competition was fierce, but the lads can only be praised for their endeavours. TEAM: Izaak Richards, Sean Heffernan, Jamie Sutton, Samuel Lesack, Ross Derham, Ruaidhri Mc Garrity, Jake Butler, Oran Power, Kyle O' Brien, Shane Oates, Alex Byrne, Eddy Daly, Alex Derham, Michael MacKessy, James MacKees, Eric Rellis. As always the lads enjoyed the day, hence to all the parents. Please encourage your kids to participate regardless of their lack of Hurling/Football experience as the emphasis is placed on fun. Please note the under 8 Football tournament is on Next Saturday 26th Feb in Ballygunnner Gaa grounds at 11:45am. We will meet in the Ferrybank GAA pitch at 11am. For all those not playing in the Football tournament, training will be as usual at 10am until 11am in the Hurling Alley,weather permitting.
