MINOR FOOTBALL: Our Minor Footballers entertained Eirns Own on Sunday last in the opening round of this years Minor Football championship in Ferrybank, and were defeated on a scoreline of 4-5 to 2-4. No doubt its goals that win matches, and that was the case here, as Eirns Own tooks their chances to claim the two points on offer. However all is not lost yet in qualifying as there is another 4 group matches left to be played. We play our second game next Saturday 26th Feb away to Kilrossanty at 8pm. Please come along and support the team, as this will be a tough game for the lads.
