We would like to congratulate messrs Sam Lawless, Cormac o Driscoll and Shane O Sulluvan in getting called up for trials for the Waterford under 21 team this week. These lads have put in a huge effort over a long period of time, and we are hopeful of them, and more from our club fulfilling their true potential as top hurlers.
Cormac was a part of the winning squad that won the Tony Forrestial tournament a few years ago, and has come on leaps and bounds.
Shane just missed out on this level but has been an inspiration to all youngsters coming through our ranks in our club in the last few years.
And Sam represented both Waterford minors, [who won Munster and got to an All Ireland semi final last year], and the Abbey Collage.
So a big well done to the lads on their recognition as top quality hurlers from our club.
