It has been announced this week by the manager of the Abbey School that our club has two players on the V.E.C. team for this year. These players are non other than Saemus Burtchill and Damien Aherne. Damien, as we all remember was a part of the team that got to the All Ireland last year, and Seamus was a part of our Interemedeate panel last year.
Both young lads are an inspiration to everyone in our club and are much admired by their peers.
The club would like to wish both players, and indeed The Abbey School all the best in their playing endeavors for the coming year.
