UNDER 13 FOOTBALL:
The combined Ferrybank/Sacred Heart combined side were narrowly defeated in the Division 3 Football final last Tuesday, as St. Mollerans came strong in the second-half to claim the spoils on a scoreline of 5-11 to 5-06.
It was an entertaining match from start to finish with the combined side holding a 1-03 to 1-01 lead at the break. St Mollerans came a lot more into the game, and began to score goals at crucial stages to run out 5-11 to 5-06 winners.
Credit to Ferrybank/ Sacred Heart side as they kept battling away, and had six different scores on the night.

MINOR FOOTBALL:
Our Minor Footballers were defeated by St. Marys last Tuesday. The damage was done in the opening half, as St Marys built up a big lead. However, a much improved second-half display from the side saw them compete with the opposition, and with a bit more composure in front of goal, could have had a green flag or two on the night.

Well done to Iona Heffernan and Doxer Burns (Coach) who recorded a great win with the Waterford Senior Camogie team over Wexford in Walsh Park last Saturday afternoon. It was an excellent display from the team throughout the game, and now, they can look forward, with confidence, to this coming Sunday with a trip to Thurles to play Tipperary. This game will act as a curtain raiser for the Munster Senior Hurling final.
