CAMOGIE:
Our Intermediate Camogie side were defeated by Portlaw last Saturday in the County League. Short of a number of players, the girls put in a good effort throughout the game, and no doubt will come on from this game.

NURSERY GROUPS:
Another busy week for the Nursery groups with the U6 and U8 Camogie girls playing in Glenmore last Tuesday and putting in another great performance, showing plenty of effort on the night.
Our ‘Stars of the Week’ continued with Tiernan and Cian picking up the award in the Boys’ section, while congrats to Nadia and Allanah who won the awards in the Girls’ section
COUNTY DUTY:
Hard luck to Valerie O' Brien and the Waterford Junior team that were defeated by Clare in the Junior final against Clare last Saturday afternoon in Páirc Uí Rinn.
Also, best of luck to Doxer Burns, Iona Heffernan and the Waterford Senior Camogie team that begin their Championship campaign next Saturday in Walsh Park at 5pm against Dublin, which will also see our Under 8 camogie team taking part in the half-time blitz.
DÉISE DRAW:
The 2022 Déise Super Draw will commence on Wednesday, May 18th. There will be six draws in total, taking place every four weeks. Each ticket for the draw cost €15, or €90 for the six draws. A total of 23 cash prizes ranging from a top prize of €10k for the 1st prize, €3k for the 2nd prize, €2k for 3rd prize, €1k for 4th and 5th prize, all the way down to prize number 23. Also on each draw night, there will be bonus draws for special prizes.
As we all know, the Déise Draw has been a key fundraiser for the club, year-in, year-out. The money retained by the club (70% in total) goes towards maintaining the costs associated with the day-to-day running of the club. We would encourage everyone associated with the club to purchase a Déise Draw ticket for the year ahead. Tickets can be purchased from any committee member of the club.
