ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes

UNDER 6 HURLING:

Another excellent turnout last Saturday morning, with over 30 boys and girls enjoying the fun and games in lovely autumn weather, and certainly the hard work is paying off. Training continues this Saturday morning from 10am-11am, and everyone is most welcome to come along and get involved. Special word of thanks to the mentors, parents and players for all their help each and every Saturday.

GAELIC FOR MOTHERS & OTHERS:

The Gaelic for Mothers & Others team travelled to Castletown last Saturday morning to partake in a blitz that involved Naomh Eanna and Castletown. A great day out was had by all, in which the ladies played three games, against Castletown Maroon, Naomh Eanna, and Castletown White. Everyone on the team put in a great effort, and all of the games were played in a great spirit, and fully engaged with the ethos of what G4MO stands for.

Thanks to Castletown for being excellent hosts, and to Naomh Eanna. Thanks to Conor and John for making the journey, and helping out on the day, with their words of encouragement for each game. TEAM; Aine, Brenda, Caroline, Catherine, Deirdre, Emma, Jenny, Lizzy, Lorainne, Louise, Margaret, Martina, Marguerite, Melissa, Sandra, Sharon, Sinead, Susan, Ting.

QUIZ NIGHT:

As our annual benefit night has to be rescheduled due to COVID-19 restrictions currently in place in Kilcohan Park, we are delighted to announce we will be holding a table quiz in its place on Saturday November 20th at 6:30pm sharp at the Mandarin Palace Bar & Restaurant (Village Inn).

The entry fee is €20 for a team of 4, with live music to follow. We hope you can come out and support this enjoyable evening, so gather up your team and best of luck to all.
