COUNTY DUTY:

Well done to Mark O' Brien who lined out with the Waterford Senior hurlers last Sunday, registering a comprehensive win over Offaly last Sunday afternoon in Thurles in their opening game in the Allianz hurling league. It’s off to Portlaoise on Sunday for the team for their next outing against Laois.

Best of luck to Iona Heffernan, Niamh Ahearne and the Waterford Senior Camogie team who travel to the Cork Camogie Grounds also next Sunday in their second game of the Littlewoods League.

The Waterford Camogie squad have launched their Annual Sports Predictor Quiz for 2019, with all the proceeds raised going towards the running of the team for the year. There are fifteen sports questions ranging from GAA, Rugby, Champions League, Formula One Motor Racing, etc., with four different answers, with points been allocated to each answer. So why not test your knowledge. The Sports Predictor can be obtained from Iona Heffernan 085 115 4205 or Niamh Ahearne 083 854 7293.
