Ferrybank GAA - Weekly Notes

PRESENTATION/REGISTRATION NIGHT:
This coming Saturday February 25th at 6pm in the Parish Hall will see the presentation of medals to the victorious Ferrybank Under 13 Eastern Football champions, and also to the Under 15 County Hurling and Football champions.
Registration will also take place for the coming season for the Juveniles, and we would encourage all parents to come along and register your children for the playing season. The fee for the year is €20 for the 1st child, €10 for 2nd and 3rd child.

ADULT MEMBERSHIP:
With the playing season shortly upon us, membership for the coming year is Adults €70 and Students/Unwaged €30. We would encourage all players to pay their membership ASAP.

UNDER 16 FOOTBALL:
Our Under 16 Footballers received a walkover last Sunday morning. Next up for the team is a home game next Sunday February 26th at 11am home to Stradbally.

DÉISE DRAW:
The 2017 Déise draw is scheduled to commence this coming May. It’s a new formula this year with 6 draws taking place, 1 per month. Tickets cost €15 per month, with prize money increasing from €10,000 to €12,500 for 1st prize, 2nd prize increases to €3,000, while 3rd/4th prize will be €1,000, all the way down to 20th prize. The club will get 70% from the draw, so we would encourage all members to support this fantastic draw.

UNDER 7 HURLING:
Our Under 7 hurlers got their season underway last Saturday morning at the annual Ballygunner blitz. Ferrybank played 3 games, two against St. Declan’s and one against Sacred Heart.
This was the first match for many of the players, but it didn’t show, as they got stuck in from the start, scoring many goals and defending well throughout the games.
Well done lads, next outing is at the same venue next Saturday.
Team: Zack Mullally, Micholi, Max, Conor, Finn, Gavin, Scott, Adam, Luke, Harry, Morgan, Zack Griffin.
