Ferrybank GAA - Weekly Notes

DÉISE DRAW:
We had one winner in the September Déise draw which took place in Erin’s Own last Friday night. Congratulations to Pat O' Meara who won €250 in the draw. Thanks again to all who purchased tickets, and the final draw of 2015 will take place on Friday October 30th in Cappoquin.

GREYHOUND NIGHT:
The annual night at the dogs will take place on Saturday November 21st in Kilcohan Park. We would encourage everyone associated with the club to support this night out. Tickets will be on sale shortly and make sure you purchase your ticket from the club, as this benefits the club greatly.

CLOTHING COLLECTION:
The clothing collection is still on going until Saturday 17th October, and if you have any old clothes, towels, pairs of shoes, belts, handbags, bed linen and curtains why not drop them along to the GAA grounds on a Saturday morning between 10am-11am or at any evening training session.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL:
Our Junior Footballers are still waiting for the quarter-finals to take place before determining who they play in the semi-finals of this year’s championship. It could be another three weeks before they play.

UNDER 21 HURLING:
Our Under 21 Hurlers are scheduled to play Portlaw in Kill in this year’s Championship, but like the Junior Footballers, no confirmed date has been set.

SYMPATHIES:
Ferrybank GAA club would like to express its sympathies to the Smith family on the passing of Martin 'Mono' Smith at the weekend. Ar dheis Dé go raibh an h-anam.

CONGRATULATIONS:
Well done to the Waterford Intermediate Ladies Football team who were crowned All Ireland Champions in Croke Park this weekend.
