Ferrybank GAA - Weekly Notes

CONDOLENCES:
Ferrybank GAA club would like to extend our sympathies to the family of the late Paul Foley. An excellent servant as a player and referee to Waterford GAA, he will be sadly missed. Ar Dheis de go raibh a h-anam.

UNDER 14 HURLING:
Hard luck to the Under 14 hurlers who were narrowly defeated by Cappoquin in the County final in Walsh Park last Saturday morning on a score-line of 3-05 to 2-06. The team gave it their all on the day, and just came up short in the end. Keep the heads up lads, and no doubt their turn will come. Thanks to all who came along and supported the team.

UNDER 15 HURLING:
Our Under 15 hurlers play St. Molleran’s in Ferrybank next Sunday morning at 11am.

FERRYBANK CLOTHES COLLECTION:
The Clothes Collection will continue until Saturday, October 17th at 12:30pm. So if you have any unwanted clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels and/or soft toys, you can drop them into the GAA Grounds on Saturday mornings from 10am-11am or at any training session.
Also, you can donate mobile phones and laptops, but are to be kept separate please.
If you can’t make it down to the GAA grounds, we are also offering a collection service for houses in Ferrybank. Bags will be collected on Saturday, October 17th from 7am.
Please leave bags clearly marked 'FERRYBANK GAA' out on the pavement outside your home.

GREYHOUND NIGHT:
The annual night at the dogs will take place on Saturday November 21st in Kilcohan Park, and we would encourage everyone associated with the club to come along and attend this enjoyable night out.
