U 15 Hurlers

Our Under 15 Hurlers started there eastern championship against Mount Sion in the field on Wednesday night. The lack of match practice told as Mount Sion raced into a early 2 goal lead and things looked bad for the slip lads as keeper Keith Power kept Ferrybank in the game. They slowly found their feet and got back into it with good scores from Darren Hickey and Mark Russell. The game continued to ebb and flow but Ferrybank could not get those two goals back and Mount Sion ran out easy winners. Next training session is on Monday with a match arranged for Friday against Buttlerstown.
