Next draw will take place on Friday May 30th in Ardmore.

INTERMEDIATE HURLING: Our Intermediate Hurlers were defeated on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-11 by St Saviours in there second game of the Hurling League in Ferrybank last Saturday evening. Despite an early John Ahern goal, which resulted in good build up play, Ferrybank found it hard to get going in this game, and shooting a number of wides didnt help there cause. Points from Mark O' Brien, Eoin O' Neill, Cormac O' Driscoll kept Ferrybank in the hunt, but just before half time, a soft free conceeded by the defence led St Saviours scoring a goal from a '21 yard free, leaving them 1-8 to 1-5 leaders at half time. Ferrybank started the second half well with scores from Comac O' Driscoll & John Ahern to reduce the gap, but Saviours always kept finding more by putting over some good points. Sam Lawless and Cormac O' Driscoll pointed for the home side, but a number of bad wides from Ferrybank left St Saviours of the hook, and they punished Ferrybank by taking there scores. Late scores from Eoin O Neill & Cormac O' Driscoll set up a frantic closing minutes and despite been awarded a '21 yard free, the goalbound effort was cleared and Saviours ran out winners in the end. TEAM: Robbie Carew, Pat O' Neill, Andrew Heffernan, Seamus Burtchaeil, Paul Martin, Damien Ahern, Damien Heffernan, Eoin O' Neill(-2), Mark O' Brien(-3), David Atkins, Phil Blake, Cormac O' Driscoll(-4), Tommy Carew, Sam Lawless(-1), John Ahern (1-1), Dean Phelan, Graham Coady, Jeff Lawless, Paul Carew, Alex Power.

MINOR FOOTBALL: The Ferrybank Minor Footballers made there exit from this years Championship in Fraher field last Tuesday night where they were defeated by Affane of Cappoquin in the Quarter final stages on a scoreline of 5-6 to 4-3. Ferrybank will be wondering how they left this game behind them, after they scored four first half goals through William Tyler(2), Shane Meagher, Darryl Griffin to put them in control, but just before half time, Ferrybank lost concentration to leave Affane back into the game with two goals. In the second half, Ferrybank lost there way, as Affane got a grip on the game, and started to score a number of points, and three more goals sealed the win for them.
