U9 Report

The Ferrybank Under 9 panel played a game of hurling & football against Abbeyside/Ballinacourty on Saturday October 12th. Ferrybank put in a great effort on today but succumbed to the might and skill of the seaside team. Ferrybank conceded some early goals but as the games wore on we settled into it and defended well. With some good hurling being played by both sides, the second half was very entertaining. The football was a better game for ferrybank and we soared ahead in the inital proceedings but Abbeyside/Ballinacourty quickly turned things around and dominated in the end. Our boys illustrated the required fighting spirit and it was a great days fun and excitement for all.
