The Ferrybank Under 8 hurling team played in a blitz on Sunday 1st September 2013 in Danesfort.
Under 8 Panel: Adam Aspel, Caolan MacCathmhaoil, Shane Purcell, Sean Fagan, Izaak Richards, Fionn McGarrity, Alex Derham, Ruaidhri McGarrity,Conor Daly, Kyle Daly, Michael McLaurence, Daniel Griffin, Jacob Richards.
Another phenomenal performance by the Under 8 Ferrybank team today. The lads stormed through the first match against Muckalee and never looked back. The second game was against one of the toughest opponents this panel has ever faced...Bennetsbridge and unfortunately we succumbed to the might of this Kilkenny team. However, with the last game against the hosts (Danesfort), Ferrybank had a point to prove and they rattled home countless scores to dominate proceedings.
Congratulations to the Ferrybank lads... you did the Parish and county proud.
Well done to all the players and thanks to all teams for the manner in which they played the games.
