FERRYBANK GAA NOTES
INTERMEDIATE HURLING: Our Intermediate Hurlers travelled to Thomastown this morning to play Thomastown in a challenge game, and following a good game of Hurling, it was the home side who ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-19 to -10pts. Played in very warm conditions, it was the home side who made the better start taking their scores well from all over the field. However some of the scores the home side got, came from poor distubition of the ball from Ferrybank and were duely punished. Ferrybank played a lot better in the second half and they tightened up well, and were unlucky to see a number of attempts go astray. Despite this defeat, Ferrybank will have learned a lot from this game, against a very good Thomastown side, and while the team was understrength for this game, the young players performed well. TEAM: Sean Flynn. Hugh O' Neill, Gary Coady, Pat O' Neill, Seamus Burchill(-1), Andrew Heffernan, Cormac O' Meara, Paul Martin, Phil Blake, Eoin O' Neill(-5), Mark Drennan(-1), Sam Lawless, James Murphy, Damien Walsh(-1), Brendan O' Meara, Marty Freeman, Mark Russell(-2)
