UNDER 21 FOOTBALL: Our under 21 footballers qualified for the semi final of this years Football championship with a 4-5 to 1-8 victory over a determined Kilmacthomas side last Friday night in Carrickbeg. Played in heavy conditions, scores were hard to come by in the first half, with Ferrybank holding a slim half time lead of 1-2 to -4pts, with the goal coming from Greg Murphy. In the second half Kilmac pressed hard, but crucial goals at vital stages from Mark Russell and Colm Roche settled the team, and further points from Greg ensured our passage to the semi final stage where a meeting with St Saviours awaits.
