Congratulations to the Ferrybank Under 7 hurling Panel who dominated all of their 3 matches in Ballygunner today Saturday 5th Feb 2011.
Team: Izaak Richards, Sean Heffernan, Daniel Griffin, Jamie Sutton, Alex Byrne, Samuel Lescak, Ross Derham, Ruaidhri McGarrity, Sean Fagan, Jake Butler,Shane Purcell.
The lads provided a feast of top class hurling today. The marking was second to none and all settled into their positions well. Well done lads keep up the hurling homework and training.
The sideline support was excellent so big thanks to all the parents, grandparents, and relatives as you really spurned the team on.
The kids had a ball and will be talking about this day in school so to all parents – please encourage your kids to participate regardless of their lack of hurling/football experience as the emphasis is placed on fun.
