U16 HURLING:
The combined Ferrybank/Erin’s Own U16 hurling team have a challenge match in Ferrybank this coming Wednesday at 7:15pm against Faythe Harriers. All support greatly appreciated on the night as the boys prepare for their upcoming championship games
U13 HURLING:
Our U13 hurlers recorded a win in the City League against Ballygunner in Ferrybank on Wednesday evening. The boys did very well to come out on top on a scoreline of 4-04 to 1-05.
The team on the night was Tadgh, Dion, Mikey, Alex, Logan, Kane, Darragh, Jack, Oscar, Jackson, Sam, Caiden, Matthew
U12 FOOTBALL & HURLING:
Our U12 Footballers played out a close game against Rathgormack on Friday evening in Ferrybank with the game ending on level scores 1-04 apiece. Well done to all, the team on the night was Charlie, Oisin, Zac, Kane, Jackson, Jake, Darragh SW, Oscar, Cody, Ben, Darragh F, Reece, Connor B, Darragh K.
Next up for the team is a switch of codes to hurling and a trip to Tramore next Thursday with a 6pm start.
U11 HURLING:
Our U11 hurlers played Ballygunner in Ferrybank on Tuesday. The boys did well and got some lovely scores but ultimately it was a strong visiting team that came out on top.
Team on the night was Jake, Sam, David, Harvey, Sean, Zac, Joey, Alex, Cody, Freddie, Ben, Cian, Connor P, Reece, Killian, Max, Keenan. Next up is a trip to play Erin’s Own on Tuesday with a 6:15pm start time.
MINOR HURLING:
Ferrybank/St. Saviours combined side played out a draw against St. Patricks last Wednesday in Colligan GAA grounds. The team play their final league game this coming Thursday, May 29th against Erin’s Own in Ballybeg at 7pm.
Meanwhile the combined side are in Division 2 of this year’s championship which is scheduled to start on Wednesday, July 2nd. Also in the group are Brickey Rangers, Erin’s Own, Passage, Clonea, St. Patricks, Tramore, and St. Olivers.
SENIOR HURLING:
Ferrybank Senior Hurlers are in Kearney Catering All-County League action this coming Friday, May 30th with a home game against St. Mollerans at 7:30pm.
COUNTY DUTY:
Best of luck to Iona Heffernan, Niamh Ahearne, and the Waterford Senior Camogie team as they begin their All-Ireland campaign with a trip to play Limerick next Saturday, May 31st.
Best wishes also to Caolan Mac Cathmhaoil and the Waterford Senior Footballers who will be in Tailteann Cup action against Wicklow on Saturday evening at 6pm with the match taking place in Wexford Park.
Congratulations to Sinead Daly who was part of the Waterford Primary school team that took on Cork in Pairc Uí Chaoimh last Sunday afternoon.
WELL!KIDS:
Our popular Well!Kids program continues each Saturday in Ferrybank with a 10am start time. Open to boys and girls aged 4-6 this is an introduction to Gaelic Games with an emphasis on fun and participation.
DÉISE DRAW:
The 2025 Déise Draw is scheduled to start on July 4th. There will be 5 draws @ €20 each, with the 1st prize a nice €12,500, 2nd prize €5k, 3rd prize €2,500, 4th prize €1k, 5th - 8th prize €500, 9th - 16th €250.
The Déise Draw is the club’s primarily source of income for the year, with 70% of each ticket sold going back into the club funds for the day-to-day running.

CLOTHING COLLECTION:
The Clothing Collection is now up and running, and if you have any of the following items, you can drop them down to the GAA grounds on a weeknight, and also Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am to 1pm. Clothes, Curtains, Paired Shoes welcomed, but once again, please DO NOT send down any PILLOWS OR DUVETS.
