A limited number of tickets have become available to the club for this Sunday’s Munster Senior Hurling Championship game in Walsh Park. Contact Pat O’ Meara (087 2108890), by text, ASAP if you are interested in a ticket.

UNDER 13 FOOTBALL:
It’s a big game for the U13 Footballers tonight Monday May 27th where they take on St. Saviours at the Mount Sion GAA grounds, in the semi-final of the Division Two section. The game has a 7pm start, with extra-time to be played in the event of a draw. When the two sides met in the league stages, Ferrybank edged a close game, so there won’t be a lot to separate them on the night. Your support will be appreciated, so best of luck lads.

UNDER 12 HURLING:
No joy for the U12 hurlers last Friday in the City League, as Glenmore proved too strong in this Division One match winning on a score-line of 4-12 to 2-02. A young side, the lads tried their all and never gave up, battling all the way to the final whistle.

UNDER 11 HURLING:
The U11 hurlers got back to winning ways last Wednesday night with a thrilling 5-03 to 5-00 victory over a strong St. Marys side in Kill. The lads had to work hard throughout the game, and the defence held firm in the closing minutes to record the win. That makes it four wins from six matches in this division. They are back in action again this coming Friday night May 31st at 6:30pm, with a home game against Ballygunner B. Your support will be welcomed.

JUNIOR HURLING:
The Junior Hurlers are back in action this coming Friday May 31st with a trip to play Ballyduff Lower at 7:30pm. Having recorded a good win in their opening game, the team will be keen to keep the winning run going. Please come along and support the team on the night.

UNDER 14 HURLING:
Our U14 hurlers are in semi-final action this coming Thursday May 30th when they take on Portlaw/Ballyduff in an East Bord nÓg knockout game. No venue has been confirmed yet, so keep an eye on our social media page for updates.

UNDER 10 HURLING:
The U10 hurlers play away to St. Saviours on Wednesday May 29th at 6:30pm.

ANGELA BURNS MEMORIAL 10K:
The 5th Angela Burns Memorial 10k Fun Run/Walk took place last Saturday evening from the Ferrybank GAA grounds.
On a lovely night for it, over 150 took part in this annual event. Adam Porter, from Waterford A.C., was the overall winner on the night, with Craig O' Brien in second place, third David Kynes, fourth Eugene O' Keeffe and fifth Place David Harding. While in the Women’s Section, in first place was Maria Griffin, second place Janet Quinlan, third place Anne Watkins, fourth place Clare Sherman, and fifth place Caroline Murphy.
In the Under 12 section, Max O' Sullivan was first home in the Boys’ section, while Emily Mackey was first in the Girls’ section.
A huge thanks to all who came along on the night, and enjoyed the occasion. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out and contributed towards this event, from stewards, tea and sandwich makers, Gardai,  Total Timing, Fintan Power and all at Harvey Travel.
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

DÉISE DRAW:
Best of luck to all who have purchased Déise Draw tickets for this coming Wednesday night’s draw which takes place in Portlaw. Let’s hope we can have a couple of winners on the night. Congratulations to Sam Lawless who has the confined club winner for April.

CLOTHING COLLECTION:
The clothing collection has now resumed, and if you have any of the following items that you don’t need, you can drop them down to the GAA grounds; clothes, curtains, paired shoes, belts and soft toys. Please do NOT bring down any pillows or duvets.
