ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes


UNDER 12 HURLING:
Our Under 12 hurlers are in action this coming Monday night, April 29th at 6:30pm, in Ferrybank where they take on De La Salle. This game was scheduled to take place last Friday night, but was postponed. Your support will be welcomed on the night.

UNDER 11 HURLING:
Its City League action this coming Friday, May 3rd at 6:30pm, as Ferrybank host Carrigeen. Let’s hope the team can get back to winning ways.

JUNIOR HURLING:
Our Junior hurlers play at home against St. Saviours in their opening game in the John J Murphy sponsored competition this coming Friday, May 3rd at 7:30pm. The team were down to play Butlerstown last Friday but was postponed, and will be played at a later date. Best of luck to the team.

DÉISE DRAW:
We had no luck in the opening Déise Draw which took place last Wednesday night. A huge thanks to all who purchased tickets for the draw.

ANGELA BURNS MEMORIAL 10K RUN/WALK:
The 5th annual Angela Burns Memorial 10k Fun Run/Walk will now take place on Saturday, May 25th at 7pm. Registration is currently open on www.totaltiming.ie/event/angela-burns-memorial-10k-2019/, and its €15 for the runners (chipped) and €10 for the walkers. For those who had already registered for the original date (April 14th), your entry will still stand, and if anyone who had registered but cannot make the new date, please e-mail info@totaltiming.ie for a full refund.

CLOTHING COLLECTION:
The clothing collection has now resumed, and if you have any of the following items that you don’t need, you can drop them down to the GAA grounds; clothes, curtains, paired shoes, belts and soft toys. Please do NOT bring down any pillows or duvets.
