WATERFORD CAMOGIE FUNDRAISER:
The Waterford Senior Camogie panel, which includes our own Iona Heffernan and Niamh Ahearne, have organised a 2018 Sports Predictor (All Ireland Hurling & Football, Champions League Winner, Golf, Snooker, etc) fundraiser. The entry fee is €10, and if you would like to enter, please contact Iona 085-1154205, Niamh 087-6251482 ASAP. Also, if you want to sign up to Club Déise, you can also contact the two girls.

GAELIC FOR MOTHERS & OTHERS:
Starting TONIGHT, Monday January 29th, at 8pm in the Ferrybank GAA grounds, a new programme involving mothers and others to learn about Ladies Gaelic Football. It’s fun football, for past players, for Mothers and others, and you need to be over 18 years of age and not a registered player. This is a great concept, and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a fun filled night and enjoy a cuppa afterwards.

ANGELA BURNS MEMORIAL 10K:
The Angela Burns memorial 10k fun Run/Walk will take place on Sunday April 22nd at 11am from the Ferrybank Gaa grounds. Entries are now opened for the big day, and you can register online at www.totaltiming.ie/event/angela-burns-memorial-10k-2018/. Its €15 for the runners (chipped) and €10 for the Walkers.

COUNTY DUTY:
It was a busy weekend for some of our local players who were on inter-county duty, and well done to Iona Heffernan and Niamh Ahearne who represented the Waterford Camogie team that drew with Clare in the league at Carraiganore last Saturday evening; while Mark O' Brien was involved with the Senior hurlers that were defeated by Wexford in Walsh Park on Sunday afternoon.
