ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Club Notes



A.G.M.
This coming Thursday January 25th at 8pm in the Parish Hall will see the Annual General Meeting of Ferrybank GAA club. We would ask all members, supporters and players to come along and reflect on the last 12 months of the club. Also this AGM is also open to the public, and if you are interested in getting involved with the club for the year, no matter how big or small you can contribute, or have any ideas in improving the club, please come along, and we would be delighted to have you on board.

ANGELA BURNS MEMORIAL 10K:
The Angela Burns Memorial 10k Fun Run/Walk takes place on Sunday 22nd April at 11am from the GAA grounds. Entries are now open for the big day, and you can register online at http://www.totaltiming.ie/event/angela-burns-memorial-10k-2018/. Its €15 for the runners (chipped) and €10 for the walkers.

WATERFORD CAMOGIE FUNDRAISER:
The Waterford Camogie players have organised a 2018 Sports Predictor (All-Ireland Hurling and Football, Champions League winner, Golf, Snooker, etc.) fundraiser.
The entry fee is €10. If you would like to enter please contact Iona Heffernan (085 115 4205) or Niamh Ahearne (087 625 1482) ASAP.

GAELIC 4 MOTHERS AND OTHERS:
Starting for all mothers and others; fun Gaelic Football in Ferrybank GAA grounds. Meeting Wednesday January 24th at 8pm. Contact Margaret on 085 845 0276 for more information.

GAA FIELD:
Both the main field and juvenile field are currently closed for the month of January, due to ongoing maintenance.

COUNTY DUTY:
Best of luck to Mark O' Brien and the Waterford Senior hurlers next Sunday against Wexford in their opening game in the Allianz national hurling league, which takes place in Walsh Park.
