GOLF CLASSIC:
The club's annual Gerry Ryan Memorial Golf classic took place

affect the turnout.
The winners of the Golfers competition on 53 pts were Eoin
Hurley, Ritchie Murphy and Ray Barry, with Flynn’s Bar second on 52 pts
following a count back.
John Byrne, Pat Cunningham, Jim Byrne were winners of the
mixed section on 47 pts, while the Countrystyle team of John Mallon, Ritchie
Alward and Eamonn Connolly came second with 46 pts. John Mallon also scored a
hole in one on the 13th for good measure.
In the non-golfers section Andrew Heffernan, Sean Flynn and
Graham Penkert were winners on 52pts followed by Flynn’s Bar second team on
48pts. Longest drive was from Lee Halligan with a massive drive, and local
school teacher Aidan Rynne was nearest the pin.
Prize giving took place on the night in Flynn’s Bar. A big
thanks to all who participated in the Golf classic, and also to the Ryan family
for their continued involvement with the club, also thanks to Harry Ewing of
Waterford Golf Club for use of the course.
