This coming Saturday night, November 21st, sees the annual night at the dogs in aid of Ferrybank GAA club taking place at Kilcohan Park, with the first race at 7:50pm. Overall there will be 10 races on the night, and tickets are still available from Declan Howard 087-9393818, Siobhan Heffernan 086-2611894, Conor McGarrity 087-9087745, The Slip Café, Flynns Bar, Walsh's Lotto Shop, Taste Buds Café, Mandarin Palace and Nicky’s Daybreak Abbey Park.
We would encourage everyone associated with the club to pre-buy your tickets in advance of the event to ensure the club benefits. Tickets cost €10, with children under 16 free. The main gate prize on the night is once again kindly sponsored by Harvey Travel is a weekend away in the four star Castleross hotel Killarney which includes 2 nights B&B and one evening meal, plus many more prizes.
Also a shuttle bus service will be available on the night to transfer people to and from the track. The bus will leave from the bus stop opposite the Spar Shop at 6:45pm and will return to Ferrybank to make a second run out to the track. The bus will then depart Kilcohan at 10:15pm, before returning to the track to make a second spin home.
