U11 HURLING:
Although a friendly, this was the last hurling match of 2015 and Ferrybank had a point to prove. Despite the inclement weather conditions in Passage the match proceeded with Ferrybank taking an early lead. Passage quickly regained control and started to dominate and batter the Ferrybank defence. Ferrybank dug in and with some fine saves pucks outs from Paddy in goal, coupled with the concrete defence of Sean Heff , Izzak , Fionn and Adam we kept our costal neighbours at bay.
The second-half provided a feast of goals – where the midfield (Ruaidhri , Shane and Jake) provided countless supply of sliothar to the forwards (Mati, Sean Fagan, Jamie and Daniel) and Jamie took 3 goals no less.
Ferrybank emerged the victors in a very close game. Well done to both teams and thanks to passage for the manner in which they played.
