UNDER 13 HURLING:
Our Under 13 Hurlers played Sacred Heart in Cleaboy
last Friday for a place in the semi-finals of the Eastern Championship. The
team started off well when Shane Oates latched onto a pass and slotted the ball
into the net. Shane quickly added a second minutes later, when he tapped home
from close range, and this was followed by a John Collins point, which gave
Ferrybank a healthy half-time lead.
The second-half was a much tighter affair and
Sacred Heart got back into the game with a goal and a point in quick
succession, but the response was excellent from the team, with Shane Bagge
pointing and a third goal from Eddie Daly settled the issue, resulting in
Ferrybank running out 4-04 to 1-01 winners.
Next up is a semi-final clash against St. Mollerans
this Wednesday night in Ferrybank.

points from their seven games, and now qualify for the semi-finals, to be
played towards the end of September.
UNDER 13 CAMOGIE: Our
Under 13 Camogie side who have teamed up with Butlerstown for the season,
