Our U8 hurlers played in a hurling blitz at Gracedieu on
Monday. The lads played a fiercely contested first game with Sacred Heart with
a good few wides in the first-half. The second-half was much better with the
lads giving it their all and winning convincingly.
Next up was De La Salle, the lads fought hard with a
combination of ground and all in hurling. De La Salle deployed the swarm
technique on our goal with the lads struggling to get the ball sufficiently up
the pitch and we succumbed losing 3-1 on the night.
