GERRY RYAN MEMORIAL GOLF CLASSIC:
With just under a week ago for the seventh annual Gerry Ryan Memorial Golf classic which takes place this coming Friday June 12th at the Waterford Golf club, there are still a few places on the timesheet left, and you can contact Andy Ryan for a tee off time 086-3938893. Its a three person team event, with entry fee of €25 per person (no meal included), €20 for members of the Waterford Golf Club, and €10 for Students/Unwaged (must tee off before 11am).
Prizes will be given out in the Maradian Palce afterwards. If you would like to sponsor a tee box for €20, you may do so by contacting any of the committee. So book your tee time, form a team, and enjoy the day.

INTERMEDIATE HURLING:
Our Intermediate hurlers will play St. Saviours next Saturday June 13th in the Whites Bar of Ballymacaw sponsored Hurling League in Ferrybank at 7pm.

KITS FOR KIDS:
The Supervalu kits for kids programme is currently still in progress, and Ferrybank Gaa club has been one of the clubs nominated to take part. A shopper who spends €40 in any Supervalu store will be given a token to place in a nominated club box. The promotion will run until July, and hopefully the club can secure an O' Neills Juvenile kit consisting of Footballs Sliothars, Bibs etc. So anyone doing some shopping, pop along to any of the Supervalu stores and do your shopping, and hopefully we can secure the kits for kids. You can check on how the club is doing by logging onto www.facebook.com/caulfieldssupervalu?fref=ts or www.supervalu.iereal-people/sponsorship/gaa/gaa-kit-for-kids.

Ferrybank U6s and nursery travelled to St. Saviours on Saturday for epic battles on the hurling field. This was the first game of the year for many of these kids and they dazzled us with their hurling skills.
Thanks to St. Saviours for hosting and refereeing the games and we will repay the compliment soon.
Well done to all the players. Special mention for our new U6 coaches Charlie and Jack who managed the team with great success.

The day was a resounding success and provided the Belfast team with a flavour of Waterford hurling.
Thanks to all the teams for the feast of hurling provided and the manner in which they were played.
Thanks to the excellent referees, Luke, Cian and Odhran.
Most of all thanks to the ladies, Nicola Hoban, Breda Russell, Rosemary Heffernan, Ita Richards and Sinead McGarrity who organised and served up refreshments to all 80 kids and 50 adults.
