UNDER 6 & 7 HURLING: Passage East were the visitors to Ferrybank yesterday as the under 6 & 7 Hurlers played in a challenge games. The Under 7 match was very evenly balanced, and ended in a draw. The Under 6 game was a titanic battle, where Ferrybank soared ahead, enjoyed a healthy lead at half time, but the visitors stormed back and dominated the second half. Well done lads, keep up the hurling homework. We will be visiting Passage East in a couple of weeks for the return matches. After the match the under 6 & 8 teams went to Kennedy park for the day. The Kids had a great time, and their behaviour was exemplary, and did the club proud. Thanks to all the parents who came along and helped out on the day. Next Saturday October 13th Roanmore will visit Ferrybank, and the under 5, 6, 7, 8, teams will all bein action. All players are requested to be in Ferrybank pitch at 11:45 sharp.
JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Junior Football training will take place on Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th October at 6pm.
