UNDER 8 BLITZ: Our Under 8 Hurlers & Footballers travelled to Carraiganore yesterday to play in the annual blitz and the Footballers were first up. Ferrybank play three games against tough opponents. Ferrybank conceeded some early scores, but as the games progressed, the lads settled down, defended well and took their scores with great aplomb. The accruacy in the lads kicking, and their sheer tenacity proved fatal for the opposition. Ferrybank should be extremely proud of the performance the Under 8's. In the Hurling, the lads provided a feast of top class hurling. The marking was second to none, and all settled well into their positions. The lads dominated four of their six games. Well done lads, keep up the hurling homework. Thanks to all the Parents who came along to support the lads.
