UNDER 8 HURLING: Almost 20 players turned out for Ferrybank last night in the Under 8 blitz in Mt Sion, and they played with a ruthless efficiency that made us proud. The panel was divided into 2 teams, and they played a total of 6 games against mighty opponents in Mt Sion and St Saviours. Ferrybank had total control in many of the games and played with a style and panache. It is testement to the parents, grandparents, that we had such a fine turnout, and the kids put in so much effort. Thanks for the support as the kids thrive on it. Well done lads, and once gain you have done yourselesand the club proud. Under 8 training contuines on Wednsday at 6:30pm and Saturday at 10am. Next under 8 match is on Monday June 18th at 6:15pm in Ferrybank. All players are requested to meet in the Gaa Field at 5:45pm. INTERMEDIATE HURLING: Our Intermediate Hurlers are back in Championship action this Friday night June 15th in Walsh Park at 7:30pm, where they play St Saviours. With both sides joint top of the table with 5 points from their openning 3 games, victory for either side, will gaurantee them a place in the knockouts. No doubt a stiff test awaits the lads, but your support will be crucial to the teams chances. So please come along and support the team in this top of the table clash.
