UNDER 8 HURLING & FOOTBALL:
Ferrybank Under 8 played Kilsheelan in Ferrybank this morning. The panel was divided into two teams, and each team played hurling & Football. Team 1 is where Ferrybank dominated the hurling and enjoyed early leads, where the Football match ended in a draw. Team 2 were narrowly defeated in the hurling, but enjoyed much greater success in the Football. Thanks to Kilsheelan for travelling to Ferrybank today, and playing with the sportsmanship qualities we can all aspire to. We look forward to the return leg, and visiting Kilsheelan later in the year. Well done lads and keep up the hurling homework. As always thanks to the parents and relatives for their support. The kids thrive on this.
