GAA NOTES

UNDER 6 & 7 HURLING: Our under 6 & 7 Hurling played Passage in Ferrybank Yesterday.
TEAM Under 6: Fionn McGarrity, Kyle Daly, Michael MacLawrence, Caolan MacCathmhaoil, Aaron Meaney, Malachy Carter, Dylan White- Carton, Sean Ennis, Conor Haley, Dean Noblet, Jacob Richards, Ella Bolger, Emily Atkins, Amelia Hartley, Ryan Hughes.
UNDER 7 TEAM: Izaak Richards, Jessie Byrne, Sean Fagan, Shane Purcell, Kyle Daly, Adam Aspel, Joy Hondeau, Shane Egan. The sizeable crowd that gathered to watch these teams today were delighted with this exceptional feast of hurling. The Ferrybank under 7's battled hard and dominated in the end. The under 6 match was a much tougher gig, as Passage dominated initially going three goals ahead, but once Ferrybank got over the awe (Parents, Extended Family, Friends)  they were relentless in their pursuit of scores, and this tenancity paid of with many a good scores. Special thanks to all the parents (espically mothers and friends) who got the kids ready and to the venue on time. There support was incredible, and the kids felt like superstars. We could not do this without this support, well done to all the Players. There was noticeable improvements in the hurling skills and teamwork by the kids, and their will be another game in a couple of weeks, so keep up the practise, and training will contuine every Saturday morning at 10am. We would welcome any assistance from Parents who would like to get involved in any way, particulary in the under 6 and begineers department.
