OPEN DAY: Ferrybank Gaa Club held their open day last Saturday in the village grounds, and it turned out to be a fantastic success. Blessed with good weather for the occasion, close enough to 400 people turned up to see what the Ferrybank Gaa club is all about and how it is run. The people were impressed with the set up, and were shown how all the kids are trained and coached by the various trainers. From under 5 up to the Camoige team, all the trainers explained to the people, who was in charge of each team, the time and dates they train, and most of all the enjoyment they get out of it. It would be unfair to single out any person for special praise, but to all the people who helped out on the day, a big thank you to all, ye performed the duties with credit and certainely put Ferrybank Gaa club on the map.We look forward to next year for the open day.
