We would like to congratulate the Waterford hurlers on what can only be described as a fantastic win this morning in the Tony Forrestal Tournament against local rivals Kilkenny.
Waterford led from start to finish and fully deserved this victory.
A special mention , for obvious reasons must go to the bould M J Sutton, who now joins an elite bunch of players who are winners of this tournament.
Waterford have only once before won this tournament and on that momentous occasion our club was represented by Cormac Heffernan and Damien Aherne
So M J is in good company.
M J follows in the footsteps of his father Micheal and his uncles Benny and Paul in representing Waterford in hurling.
So a huge well done to our latest county star M J Sutton.
