GAA NOTES

JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Our Junior Footballers played De La Salle on Saturday last in preparation for their semi final clash with St Pauls, and despite both sides been short for this challenge,it turned out to be a useful workout, with the sides finishing level on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-12, with Marty Freeman getting the goal for Ferrybank, and good points been contributed by Eoin o' Neill, Greg Murphy, John Byrne, and Cormac O' Meara. Team Paul Martin, Tommy Carew, Gary Coady, Darragh Reynolds, John Treacy, James Murphy, Eoin o' Neill, Cormac O' Driscoll, Greg Murphy, John Byrne, Martin Freeman, Cormac O' Meara. We are now scheduled to play St Pauls on Saturday 18th September in Walsh park at 5:30pm in the Eastern football semi-final, this fixture has been put back due to St Pauls involvement in the Junior Hurling, in which they are involved in a three way play off.

DEISE DRAW: We had no winner in the August Deise Draw which was held last Friday night. Many thanks to those who have purchased tickets from the club. The September draw will take place on Friday 24th in St Mollerans, Carrickbeg. ( Walls Bar).
