Contacting Children For Games And Training

NEW REQUEST FROM CROKE PARK.

We have recently received new guidelines from Croke Park regarding the club, our coach's, managers etc etc contacting under age players,
We are now required [as a preferred option] to group text the parents of the children we have on our playing lists, and not as we used to do, contact them on their own phones.
For obvious reasons we as a club agree with this position.
However if a parent / guardian is still adamant the child is to receive texts from us, and our agents, we require this position in writing from the parent / guardian.
As it stands we are going to be updating our data base regarding parents / guardians phone numbers. It will take a little time to iron out problems with this new system, and players may still get texts about training and games etc , but we ask people to bear with us in our genuine attemtpt to sort out this matter. Every ones co operation and understanding would be greatly appreciated on this issue.
