Intermediate Hurlers travelled to St Judes on Saturday last to play in the all Ireland sevens and first up was Salthill-knocknacarra and came out on top by 3-6 to 1-1.
Our second game was Emly of Tipperary and were defeated by 2-6 to 2.2. our 3rd game was against Thomas Davis won by 3.4 to 1.3 which we qualified for the quarter finals.we playedhost side St Judes and were defeated by 2-4 to -4pts. Despite this defeat the players enjoyed this tournament and some of the players were feeling the effects of playing football the previous night. Panel of players who took part were Sean Flynn, Conor Hogan, Gary Coady, Podger o’ Neill, James Murphy, Shane Sullivan, Andrew Heff, Damien Heff, sparky o’ Neill, Sam Lawless. A big thank you to all the supporters who travelled to Dublin to cheer on the lads.
