Junior Football

Our Junior Footballers recorded important victories over Eirn’s own on a scoreline of 2-15 to 3-5 and Fenor 4.10 to 1.5. We travelled last Wednesday night to play roanmore in our 4th game and after a hard fought 60mins we emerged victorious 0n a scoreline of -7pts to -4pts. Despite been on top for most of the game we squandered a host of scores including a penalty, and we were almost most left to rue those misses when Roanmore missed a late close in free tie up the game.Our scores were k roche(3) g Murphy (2) e o’ neill(1) j treacy(1). Our next game is away to Kilmacthomas on Thursday 25th June at 7.30pm Intermediate Hurling .Our intermediates are scheduled to play Eirns own last Sunday in a challenge a report will follow for next week. Our next Championship game is down for July 16th against Mt Sion. Attendences for training have been going very well so far so keep up the good work lads as we prepare for this vital game.Anyone unable to attend for training please contact Doxer, Nicky or Dom. Membership is now due for anyone involved in the Junior Football or Intermediate Hurling. We would ask anyone who hasn’t paid to come forward with there fee to any committee member.
