Our u16s played Kilrossinty under lights in Leamybrien on Friday night. As with all of this team matches this year this game was another cracker. Both teams started the game level on points so it was a play off for one of the remaining two semi final places. The game started with Ferrybank taking the lead before Kilrossinty came back to take the lead. A soft goal gave them a big lead. The slip boys finally settled and started to dominate possession and although they kicked a number of wides they were only 2 points down at half time. The second half started as the first finished and the slip boys got back to level terms. Kilrossinty hit back and from then on it was nip and tuck until the very last kick of the game when Ferrybank kicked the equaliser.
This result makes our last match against St Olivers on Sunday morning at 11.30, a make or break game with 3 clubs, Dunhill/Fenor/Bulterstown, Ferrybank and Kilrossinty looking for the final 2 spots, with St Olivers and Rathgromac already qualified.
