Weekly Notes

CAMOGIE AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Camogie Club will take place on Wednesday January 29th at 8pm in the Parish Hall. We would encourage all parents to come along and attend this important meeting and hopefully get involved with the teams. The club hopes to have 7 teams for the coming season; starting from Under 8 to all the way to Junior. So a lot of help will be required, and bring a friend or two along with you, especially if they want to help out in anyway.

CONDOLENCES
We would like to express our sympathy to the Burns family on the recent death of their father Tommy who passed away last week. Tommy was a great man for the club and was probably the oldest seller in the County for the Déise Draw. His presence will be sadly missed. To his son John, daughters Dervila, Clodagh and Ciara, and also his extended Family Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

MINOR FOOTBALL
Ferrybank Minor Footballers have been drawn in Division 3 of the Minor Football Championship along with St Saviours, St Marys, Mount Sion and Portlaw. The winners of the group will qualify for the semi-final, whilst 2nd & 3rd qualify for the quarter-finals. Ferrybank's opening game is scheduled to take place on Saturday Feb 8th home to Mount Sion at 3pm.

JUVENILE AGM
The Juvenile A.G.M. took place in the Parish Hall last Tuesday night, and the following people were elected for the coming year - Chairperson Conor McGarrity, Vice-Chairperson John Heffernan, Secretary Nicola Hoban, Assistant-Secretary Breda Russell, Committee - Paul Martin, Niall Mackey, Dave Butler, John Haley and Nicky Heffernan. We wish them well in their new roles for the coming year.
