UNDER 21 HURLING:
Our U21 Hurling match against Clonea scheduled to take place on Saturday 12th October has been POSTPONED, and more than likely will take place on the 19th October.
UNDER 13 FOOTBALL:
The first two games of this Championship had to be postponed due to the unavailability of our opponents, and we finally got to play on Sunday away to Portlaw. Despite being short a number of players, the lads put in a huge challenge against a strong Portlaw team. The lads kept going for the whole game, but were defeated on the day. They stuck manfully to the task, but Portlaw gained an early advantage and opened up a gap which the lads couldn’t make inroads into. However great credit is due to one and all for this brave effort.

DÉISE DRAW:
We had one winner in the September Déise Draw which took place in Tramore last Friday night. Congratulations to Nicky Lawless who won €400 in the draw. Many thanks who purchased tickets on the night. Next draw will be in Gaultier on Friday October 26th.
UNDER 10 BLITZ:
Our under 10 hurlers travelled to Passage East on Saturday last to take part in a blitz, where they faced teams from Cork & Limerick. In our first game we played St. Vincents from Cork, in which the lads faced a tough battle, and in a closely fought battle, Ferrybank lost out to a strong side. Next up was a game against St. Patrick's from Limerick. Ferrybank hit the ground running early in the game and scored a few early goals, and never left the lead slip, and ran out worthy winners. In our final game, we faced St. Vincents once again, and with our defence on top we played some good hurling and ran out clear winners in the end. Many thanks to Passage for their kind hospitality throughout the day, and to all the supporters who came along to cheer on the team.

UNDER 12 FOOTBALL:
The Under 12 Footballers completed their series of games of games in Division 2 in great style, winning three games on the trot. They defeated De La Salle in a very close encounter in Ferrybank, and followed that win with another superb performance against Portlaw. The lads put in a great effort on the day, in a tight game and held their nerve that went to the very end by 3pts. We then travelled to Gracedieu in our final game to play De La Salle last Friday night, and came out on top in a very tight game of Football. This team have progressed in every game this year, and with a bit of luck, and a full turnout for the earlier games they might have won the Division. One win from the earlier games would have made the difference. However this group can be very proud of their performance throughout the Championship. They are now looking forward to the trip to Dublin on October 26th to see the Aussie Rules in Croke Park, a just reward for all
their efforts in training. We wish Reece Phelan a speedy recovery who played the full game against De La Salle, despite injuring his thumb.
