UNDER 8 HURLING: The Ferrybank under 8 hurling panel in Ferrybank yesterday. This was a very tight game. Initially Tramore soared ahead, but Ferrybank clawed their way back into it by half time, and started to dominate. Tramore battled hard in the second half, and scores were rattled in by each team on a regular basis. In the end a draw was a fair result. Ferrybank put in a great effort today, and the lads are improving constantly. This was a great all round performance. Keep up the training lads.
UNDER 14 CAMOIGE: Our under 14 Camoige squad travelled to Tramore yesterday to take part in the Tramore tournament. In the opening game Ferrybank played Glen Rovers from Cork and the Cork side proved to strong for the girls. In the second game, Ferrybank defeated Tramore, playing some very good hurling at times. This was an enjoyable tournament for the team to enjoy, and no doubt will have learnt a lot from these games. Thanks to Tramore for been very good hosts on the day.
